Nelson Barros has extensive experience in engineering and product development, currently serving as Manager at both 247Security Inc. and Patrol Witnessâ„¢ since January 2008. In addition, Nelson has been a Consultant for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (NIOSH) since 2014, addressing occupational safety concerns such as homicide rates among taxicab drivers. Nelson holds a position as a Board Director at Aldebrain Attendant Care Services of Toronto, which focuses on supporting adults with disabilities and promoting independent living. Furthermore, Nelson has served as Product/Project Manager at Toronto MicroElectronics Inc. since April 2000 and previously worked as a Field Sales Engineer at Intel Corporation from August 1995 to March 2000. Nelson earned a degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Modern University of Setubal, Portugal, between 1988 and 1992.
