Jon joined 23andMe as CMO in 2022 to lead the company’s global marketing efforts. His team is responsible for driving the consumer business while building the company’s brand into a leader in health and wellness.
Prior to 23andMe, Jon was Chief Marketing Officer for health insurer Sidecar Health, and grew the business in 18 states and channels including direct-to-consumer, broker and employer.
Between 2012 and 2019, Jon was a Vice President at 23andMe, leading a range of initiatives including international markets expansion, retail/Amazon sales, business development and acquisition marketing. Jon has also held executive leadership positions at eHarmony, AOL and McKinsey and Company.
Jon has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Williams College, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
