George Hipp has a diverse work experience starting from 1995 when they served as a Still Photographic Specialist/Photojournalist in the United States Marine Corps until 1999. George then worked as a Digital Photographer at Pratt & Whitney from 2000 to 2003 and later took on roles in DAM/CMS design, integration, and management at the same company until 2013. George then joined UnitedHealth Group - Optum where they served as an Sr IT Architect and Manager IT, DevOps - AEM/CQ from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at VMLY&R as Director, Technology and later as Group Director, Technology. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Leader and Vice President at 21.co since 2022, where they are responsible for infrastructure, IT, DevOps, data, and security, and working on creating and supporting platforms for developers, operations, and product to build the vision of 21co.

George Hipp holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management, Finance, and Change Management from the Barney School of Business, University of Hartford (2010-2012). George also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Interactive Information Technology from the University of Hartford (2004-2008) and an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Liberal Arts from Western Connecticut State University (2000-2003). George further pursued their education by obtaining certifications, including Functional Programming Principles in Scala and Adapt Your Leadership Style through Coursera (obtained year unspecified). George also has a certification in Cloud Architecture with Google Cloud Specialization from Coursera (obtained year unspecified). In 1998, George obtained a degree in Photojournalism from the National Cryptologic School, and in 1996, they acquired a USMC Combat Photographer Specialist (MOS 4641) certification from NAS Pensacola.
