Deepti Karhade has a diverse work experience in the medical and dental fields. In 2015, they worked as the Director of Strategy at 2 Minute Medicine. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Dental Student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During this time, they also served as a Team Leader at CHA Windsor Street Health Center, where they managed a pediatric dental clinic and provided dental care to low-income families. Since 2019, they have been working at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Pediatric Dentistry Resident. In this role, they have gained extensive clinical experience in various settings and has orthodontic training. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science Degree at the University of North Carolina, focusing on the applications of machine learning in studying early childhood caries.

Deepti Karhade attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a field of study in DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). Following their time at Harvard, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2019 to 2022. During this period, they earned a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry/Pedodontics.
