John Sokol has extensive work experience spanning nearly two decades. John began their career in 2003 as Director of Training and Division Head in Carrier Squadrons 126, 120, and 123. John developed training programs and implemented safety procedures for a new aircraft model. From 2012 to 2013, John served as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Flag Aide to the Strike Group Commander of Carrier Strike Group 3. John coordinated and executed strategic engagements globally, managing the CEO's schedule and protocol.

John then worked as the Director of Operations, Administration, and Safety in Carrier Squadron 116 from 2013 to 2016. John choreographed daily operations, managed a million-dollar travel budget, and implemented quality improvements for safety programs. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Director of Operations, Operations Officer, and HR Manager in the Airborne Command & Control Weapons School, managing a 40-person organization and coordinating training for aviation squadrons.

In 2020, John became the Director of Air Operations and Air Operations Officer in Carrier Strike Group 8, where they directed daily operations and led planning for large-scale exercises and table-top war games. John then joined the US Navy Warfare Development Command in 2021 as the Director of Doctrine and Doctrine Branch Lead, managing a team responsible for the development and distribution of navy doctrine.

Most recently, John has been working as a Senior Warfare Analyst at 2 Circle, Inc. since 2023. The summary highlights their roles and responsibilities in each position, demonstrating their expertise in operations management, strategic coordination, and training development.

John Sokol has a diverse educational background, with their highest level of education being a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from the Naval Postgraduate School from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1996 to 2001.

- HAWKEYE WEAPONS AND TACTICS INSTRUCTORS CLASS, obtained in March 2009 from the Naval Air Warfare Development Center.

- TOPGUN | AIR INTERCEPT CONTROLLER COURSE, obtained in March 2007 from the Naval Air Warfare Development Center.

- NAVAL LEGAL SCHOOL, obtained in May 2005 from the Navy Legal Service Office.
