Duncan Mwangi, CMA, currently serves as Plant Controller at Owens Corning since September 2022. With extensive accounting experience, Duncan has been an Accountant at 1st Global since November 2015, where responsibilities include preparing financial audit materials and consolidated financial statements. Previous roles include Staff Accountant positions at LBJ Infrastructure Group LLC and Buttler & Hosch, where Duncan managed daily transactions, month-end closings, and financial reporting. Earlier experience includes an internship at State Street as a Price Analyst and volunteer work assisting students with income tax return preparation. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Central Missouri and an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University. Additional qualifications include a COSO Internal Control Certificate and progress towards the Certified Management Accountant designation.
