Ian Fletcher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geospatial analysis and geoscience. Currently serving as an FME Senior Consultant at 1Spatial since March 2020, Ian specializes in the management, visualization, and storage of large geospatial datasets, utilizing formats such as ESRI shapefiles and SQL spatial tables. Prior to this role, Ian held various positions at Halliburton from October 2011 to March 2020, including Geospatial Analyst and Geoscientist, where responsibilities included automating complex geoprocessing workflows. Ian's earlier experience at Neftex Petroleum Consultants Ltd included positions as Geodynamics Product Owner and Geoscientist, among others, contributing valuable expertise in geological and geotechnical analysis. Ian holds a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Bristol, completed in 2011.
