Cara Bognar serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Top Tier Lessons, an organization that connects college student athletes with parents seeking sports lessons for their children, successfully winning significant investment through the College New Venture Challenge and the COZAD New Venture Challenge. In addition to this role, Cara has been a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since August 2020, supporting student entrepreneurs in their ventures. As a Division 1 swimmer, Cara exhibited leadership as the team captain during the 2022-2023 season. Previously, Cara held the position of Chief Outreach Officer at StandOut Search, securing funding through a notable competition, and completed an internship at Precision Genetics, where research was conducted on personalized medicine. Cara is pursuing dual bachelor's degrees in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and Innovation Leadership and Engineering Entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
