Joe Chinnici is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and investment sectors, currently serving as a Partner at 1870 Ventures since January 2023, focusing on life sciences. Chinnici also co-leads Four Pines Ventures LLC, an early-stage investment vehicle in various sectors including software, tech, infrastructure, renewable energy, and life sciences, while fulfilling CEO and board member responsibilities. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Venture Development at The Ohio State University, and Director at CBTS, a data center infrastructure development arm of Cincinnati Bell Telephone. Chinnici's extensive background also includes a lengthy tenure at KeyBanc Capital Markets as Managing Director and prior experience as an Associate at Sanwa BGK Securities. Chinnici holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
