Briana Tejuco

Program Director, Nourishing Pregnancy at 18 Reasons

Briana Tejuco, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in program management and community health initiatives. Currently serving as the Program Director for the Nourishing Pregnancy Program at 18 Reasons since September 2015, Briana co-founded this initiative to empower birthing people in the San Francisco Bay Area through food and education. Previously, Briana managed the San Francisco Cooking Matters Program, overseeing a range of responsibilities including staff management and community collaboration. An internship at the UCSF CoE Black Women's Health and Livelihood Initiative in 2019 further emphasized a commitment to addressing health disparities in Black women. Briana holds a Master of Public Health from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, with an emphasis on Community Health. Additionally, Briana has culinary training from the California Culinary Academy.
