Simon Gatchell has had a varied and impressive work experience. In 2016, they served as the Director of Kids Going Bananas Summer Camp, where they were responsible for hiring counselors, organizing activities, addressing any issues with kids or parents, and establishing a schedule for the day. In 2017, they worked as a Sales Administrative Assistant at F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., where they were tasked with completing various tasks in a fast-paced environment. In 2018, they worked as a Substitute Teacher for Prince William County Public Schools, a Summer Intern for GOAT (Great Outdoor Adventure Trips), and a Communications Intern for One Body in Christ Ministries. In 2021, they worked as a Sales Development Representative for Gravy and a Coach for Solidarity CrossFit, where they led members through classes and helped each athlete improve through encouragement and cues pertaining to the exercise. Simon Gatchell is currently a Sales Development Representative for 12twenty.

Simon Gatchell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Communications from Liberty University between 2014 and 2018. In November 2018, they were certified as a CF-L1 Trainer by CrossFit, Inc. Simon also holds CPR Certification and Wilderness First Aid certification from GOAT (Great Outdoor Adventure Trips).
