Loraine Arikat, MPH, MSW, currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, a position held since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on health systems and policy, and as a Health Policy Legislative Fellow with the Maryland General Assembly. Loraine's background also features significant contributions in community health initiatives and social justice, including facilitating racial justice training with Gamaliel Network and advocating for housing justice in Baltimore. Loraine holds a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Loyola University Chicago.
