Emmie Overbeek is a seasoned communications professional with a Bachelor of Communication from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede and experience spanning various roles in the field. Currently serving as a Communications Advisor at 113 Suicide Prevention since May 2023, Emmie contributes to the mission of preventing suicide in the Netherlands. Prior to this role, Emmie held positions as a Communications Advisor and Project Manager at Treffend & Co, and as Manager at Contrasting Communicatie. Emmie's career also includes teaching Dutch and English at Lyceo, a trainee position in communications at Nederlandse Spoorwegen, and public relations at Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
