Ejiofor Arinze

Head, Client Experience at 1 Million Teachers

Ejiofor Arinze has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Ejiofor started their career in 2013 as a Call Center Agent Trainer and Customer Care Representative at Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), where they were responsible for sim card registration validation and making outbound calls to validate customer data.

In 2014, they joined Stanbic IBTC as a KYC/Quality Assurance Officer, where they gathered data from multiple sources to complete Know-Your-Customer profiles, reviewed documents for accuracy, and conducted due diligence on new and existing clients.

From 2015 to 2016, Arinze worked as a Consultant Facilitator and Trainer at Perionhcs/MTN Telecoms. Ejiofor'sresponsibilities included training customer service representatives, preparing new hires for their roles, and bridging knowledge gaps through intensive training.

In 2016, they served as a Short-Term Expert Trainer and Facilitator on Office Administration at the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Nigeria (AHK Nigeria). Here, they focused on teaching office assistance and secretarial skills, as well as providing training on procurement and business calculations.

Arinze then volunteered with 1 Million Teachers (1MT) from 2017 to 2020, initially as a Customer Representative/Country Representative for Africa/Nigeria. In this role, they reached out to potential subscribers, guided them through the registration process, and explained the benefits of the online training program. Later, they became the Head of Client Experience, where they led the organization's client experience efforts.

Most recently, in 2021, Arinze joined Ejiofor'sMarvellous Grace Support Foundation as the Lead Monitoring and Evaluation for the 'Continuing Learning Through Alternate Home and Community-Based Platforms' project. This initiative, sponsored by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria, involves collaboration with 1 Million Teachers and aims to address the disruption of learning caused by the COVID-19 pandemic through alternative learning platforms.

Ejiofor Arinze completed their Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication at Nnamdi Azikiwe University from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In October 2016, they became a Trainer for the German Dual Vocational Training on Office Administration, a program conducted by AHK Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Nigeria and IHK GieBen-Friedberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In July 2019, they received a Certification of Training on "How to manage Dementia Patients And the Stress they Create" from the GABI WILLIAMS ALZHEIMER'S FOUNDATION. In November 2019, they completed the IIEP-UNESCO/UNICEF/GPE MOOC on Mainstreaming Early Childhood Education into Education Sector Planning offered by the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP-UNESCO). In May 2020, they obtained a Certification of Training in "Tech-Savvy Teacher" from Queen's University - Faculty of Education. Lastly, in May 2021, they acquired the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) certification from UNICEF.
