Caryl Ivrisse Crochemar is a seasoned curator and director with extensive experience in the contemporary art sector. Currently serving as a Guest Curator for 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London and New York City since April 2023, Caryl also operates as the founder and director of espace d'art contemporain 14N 61W and the creative renegades society since their inception in 2013 and 2003, respectively. Previous roles include Curator in Chief at S12 Studio/Select World from March 2018 to July 2021 and founder/director of galerie5213 from 2003 to 2012. Caryl holds an MBA in Business/Managerial Economics and attended Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme from 1990 to 1993.
