Workplace Tech

RingCentral, a provider of global enterprise cloud communications, collaboration, video meetings, and contact center solutions, named Sonalee Parekh as CFO, effective May 31. Parekh joins from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she served as CFO of the company’s Communications Technology group.

Performio, an enterprise-grade sales commission software provider, named former Salesforce executive Neil Graham as Chief Revenue Officer and selected Datometry’s VP of Engineering, Dmitri Korablev, as CTO.

Nuvolo, a connected workplace software and solutions provider, announced that Jim Wilton has been named Chief Product Officer. Prior to Nuvolo, Wilton held a variety of senior leadership roles with Buildingi, Sentifi, Lucernex, Tririga and Planon.

Sprinklr, a unified customer experience management platform, announced that Arun Pattabhiraman has joined as its Chief Marketing Officer. Most recently, Pattabhiraman was Chief Growth Officer at Freshworks.

Tealium, an enterprise tag management system and marketing software provider, named Tony Nadalin as Chief Customer Officer. Prior to joining Tealium, Nadalin spent four years at Synopsys Inc. as Group Vice President.

Fintech

BrightFi, a banking technology services company, added former CheckAlt leader Allison Murray as Chief Revenue Officer and former Formstack executive Eva Kuehnert as Head of Product.

Avalara, an automated tax compliance software provider, hired Ee Lyn Khoo as its new Chief People Officer. Ee Lyn most recently served as the Chief People Officer at Redfin.

MoneyLion, a digital financial services and lifestyle content platform, announced that Sean Horgan has been appointed Head of Investor Relations. Prior to joining MoneyLion, Horgan was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Rosenblatt Securities.

DriveWealth, a global fintech infrastructure company, appointed Terry Angelos as Global CEO. Angelos most recently served as Visa’s SVP and Global Head of Fintech and Crypto.

Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency exchange, revealed that Global CEO Julian Sawyer has left the company and has been replaced by its Europe CEO, JB Graftieaux.

Insurtech

Pie Insurance, an insurtech company specializing in workers' comp insurance for small businesses, named David Samuels as its first Chief Commercial Officer. Samuels joins Pie after nearly a decade at SAP/Concur, where he was Chief Customer Officer.

FastTrack, a platform that digitizes and automates critical elements of the claims adjudication for life and disability insurance, announced that Michael Fradkin, formerly the Head of Group Products and Underwriting at Lincoln Financial Group, has been appointed President.

Health Tech

GoodRx, a consumer-focused digital healthcare platform, announced that Raj Beri will join GoodRx as COO. He comes to the company from Uber, where he served as VP of Grocery and New Verticals.

Happyly, a corporate mental and physical health technology company, named Kyle Martin as Chief Product Officer.

ArisGlobal, a provider of life sciences software that automates core drug development functions, revealed that its Chairman, Mike Gordon, has taken over as CEO.

EdTech

Docebo, an AI-powered learning suite provider, announced that Nina Simosko and Nicole Williams joined as its Chief Sales Officer and SVP of Revenue Strategy & Operations, respectively. Before Docebo, Simosko served as Chief Commercial Officer at Akerna and Williams led global field strategy and enablement at Cornerstone OnDemand.

E-Commerce

Wayfair, an online home goods retailer, announced that its Chief People Officer, Kate Gulliver, will take over as its CFO and Chief Administrative Officer upon the retirement of Michael Fleisher in November.

Vroom, an e-commerce platform for buying and selling used vehicles, promoted Tom Shortt from COO to CEO, effective immediately.

Tulip, a provider of cloud-based omnichannel management solutions, hired Roberto Grandillo as EVP of Product Management. Grandillo was previously the VP of Product Development and Head of Retail at Lightspeed Commerce.

Firework, a live streaming commerce and digital transformation platform, hired Shivkumar Krishnan as VP of Engineering. Krishnan was previously Gap’s Global Head of Engineering for Stores Technology.

Klaviyo, a unified customer platform for e-commerce brands, today announced that former Walmart International CFO Amanda Whalen has been appointed CFO.

Boxed, an e-commerce grocery platform that sells bulk consumables, named former Sezzle sales leader Anna Meyer as Chief Revenue Officer. Additionally, former Stanely Black & Decker lawyer Jung Choi joined the company as General Counsel and Secretary and former Resident people chief Veracelle Vega became its new Chief People Officer.

Media Tech

BuzzFeed, a digital media company, announced that Squarespace CFO Marcela Martin will join as its new President.

TuneIn, an audio streaming service, revealed that Tom Fuelling has been appointed CFO. Prior to joining TuneIn, Fuelling served as CFO for Hulu, OpenX, ARTISTdirect and most recently, Spokeo.

Transportation Tech

Velodyne Lidar, a lidar manufacturer for autonomous vehicles, appointment of Mark Weinswig as CFO. Most recently, Weinswig served as CFO of Avinger.

Cybersecurity

Cloudflare, a security, performance, and reliability company, hired Carlos Torales Montero as VP and Head of Sales for Latin America.

Jumio, a provider of orchestrated end-to-end identity proofing, eKYC and AML solutions, added Susan Walker as CFO. Walker was most recently the CFO at Digital Guardian.

IT

Splunk, a data platform leader for security and observability, promoted Katie Bianchi from SVP of Customer Scuccess to Chief Customer Officer.

Astreya, an IT managed services & technology company, appointed Salman Rashid as CFO. He was previously the COO and CFO at Edgile.

Lakeside Software, a digital experience management company, selected David Keil as its new CEO. Keil was previously the COO at Tricentis.

Cardinality.ai, a tech firm that offers SaaS, AI, and cloud-based software services to the government, appointed Peter Allen and Anna Harper as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, respectively.

Fastly, a global edge cloud network provider, has initiated a search to identify the next CEO. Once a successor is appointed, current CEO Joshua Bixby will step down.

Veeam Software, a backup, recovery and data management solutions provider, appointed John Jester as Chief Revenue Officer. Jester was previously an executive at Google Cloud.

Internet

TripAdvisor, the online travel website, announced that Matt Goldberg will succeed company co-founder Stephen Kaufer as CEO. Most recently, Goldberg served as EVP of North America and Global Operations at The Trade Desk.

Yahoo appointed former NerdWallet Chief Product Officer Tapan Bhat as the President and General Manager of Yahoo Finance.

Vacasa, a vacation rental management platform in North America, promoted its SVP of Innovation, John Banczak, to Chief Strategy Officer.

Sovrn, a publisher technology platform for creators, announced that Demetrius Comes has joined as CTO. Most recently, Comes was the Chief Information and Security Officer and VP of Engineering at GoDaddy.

Unlock, an NFT-based protocol enabling creators and their communities to form direct relationships online, hired former Google partnerships executive Patrick Workman as its VP of Business Development and Partnerships.

Reachdesk, a global data-driven gifting platform, appointed Vic Russo and Scott Murtaugh as its CFO and Head of Global Partnerships, respectively.

Connectivity

Axon, a connected public safety technologies company, announced that Jim Zito, its SVP of Accounting, has been appointed interim CFO, effective immediately.

Nokia, a telecommunications and connectivity equipment maker, revealed that its Chief People Officer, Stephanie Werner-Dietz, will step down on August 31, 2022.

Proptech

Brivo, a provider of cloud-based access control and smart building technologies, appointed Maureen Perrelli as Chief Revenue Officer. Most recently, Perrelli was the Chief Channel Officer at Secureworks.

SmartRent, a provider of smart home and smart building automation for property owners, managers, developers, homebuilders and residents, named Robyn Young as it’s first Chief Marketing Officer. Young joins SmartRent from Western Alliance Bancorporation, where she served as CMO.

Semiconductor Manufacturers

Intel, a semiconductor and computer company, appointed Matt Poirier as SVP of Corporate Development, effective May 30. Prior to joining AMD, Poirier was SVP of Corporate Development and investor relations at Xilinx.
