These are the most notable hires, promotions and departures within the US tech community in the last week. For executive news updated daily, check out The Org's People on The Move.

Executive moves:

The Pill Club hired Liz Meyerdirk as CEO. Meyerdirk was the Senior Director & Global Head of Business Development at Uber Everything for the past six years.

eBay named Cornelius Boone as Chief People Officer, effective early February. Boone is currently the VP of Human Resources at American Airlines.

VMware appointed Guru Venkatachalam as APJ CTO. Prior to this role, Venkatachalam was CTO of Cloud Architecture at VMware.

Dave hired Jarad Fisher as Chief Commercial Officer. Fisher joines Dave from Apple, where he worked on go-to-market strategy for Apple Card.

Taranis appointed Bar Veinstein as its next CEO. Previously, Veinstein served as President of Ex Libris.

CSG hired Channing Martin Jones as the company's first Chief Diversity and Social Responsibility Officer. Jones previously held a variety of different leadership roles at Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the US Department of State.

BehaVR hired Rory Channer as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining BehaVR, Channer had held leadership roles at McDermott Will & Emery, Ruffalo Noel Levitz, and Circleback.

Sift promoted Marc Olesen to President & CEO. He was previously COO.

Billtrust hired Greg Hanson as Chief Product Officer. Before joining, Hanson was SVP, Product Development for PrecisionLender.

BullseyeEngagement promoted Raquel Furrer to Chief Customer Success Officer. Furrer was previously VP, Client Services & Success.

Qlarant hired Stuart Harlow as CFO. Before joining Qlarant, Harlow was the Senior Director of Finance for BAE Systems.

Dashlane hired JD Sherman as its new CEO effective early February. Sherman previously held the position of Advisor and COO at Hubspot.

ProctorFree announced that Suzanne Flynn Speece has joined as Chief Operating Officer. Speece was previously the COO at Tech Talent South.

3Pillar Global’s COO Heather Combs has been appointed to the role of CCO.

FanAI hired David Bachowski as its new Chief Technology Officer. Bachowski joined from Mission Capital where he was director of technology.

Geojam appointed Noelle Chesnut Whitmore as Chief Marketing Officer. Whitmore previously worked for Goldenvoice.

Sandstone Technology promoted Ross Watts as Chief Customer Officer from Sales Director. Watts replaced Michael Phillipou, who was recently promoted to CEO.

Momentus appointed former Chief Revenue Officer Dawn Harms as interim CEO following the resignation of its CEO, Mikhail Kokorich.

Paro promoted Anita Samojednik to CEO, from COO.

BetterUp named Cindy Goodrich as Chief Marketing Officer. Goodrich was previously the VP of Marketing at HubSpot.

CORL Technologies added Devon Wijesinghe as its Chief Transformation Officer. Wijesinghe previously was the Head of Corporate and Business Development at Cision.

CAES appointed David Young as Chief Technology Officer. Young was previously the VP of Advanced Program Development at Lockheed Martin Space.

Brightflag hired Jill Altruda as the company’s new VP of Marketing. Altruda was previously the VP of Product Marketing at LLamasoft.

Rockwell Automation named Scott Genereux as Chief Revenue Officer and Brian Shepherd SVP, Software and Control, effective Feb. 1.

CloudSphere hired Google, Microsoft veterin, Jane Gilson, as its CEO.

Onclave hired Don Stroberg as CEO, Mike Seymour as Chief Revenue Officer, and Scott Martin as Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Stroberg was the SVP of Corporate Development for Ligado Networks, Seymour was the VP and general manager of HPE North America Telco and Martin was the CMO for Philips Lighting North America.

Streetbees announced the appointment of Sebastian Hempstead as its first GM, North America. Hempstead joined the team from Episerver where he was the VP of Go-To-Market.

Conga appointed Grant Peterson as Chief Product Officer. Prior to joining Conga, Peterson spent 12 years as the CTO at DocuSign.

Apollo GraphQL hired Josh McKenzie as its new VP of Engineering. McKenzie joined from DataStax where he was the VP of Engineering.

Evolv Technology named Dana Loof as Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Dana worked at Palo Alto Networks, as VP of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

HC3 named Matthew Bagley as CTO. Most recently Bagley served as President of Corsica Technologies.

QRails hired Brian Brinkley as its new CEO. Previously Brinkley was the Co-Founder of Google Wallet and has served on the QRails leadership team as CTO since 2019.

Board Moves:

Palantir added Lauren Friedman Stat to its Board.

Cargill added Omar Ishrak to its Board.

EXL Technologies announced that David Kelso will retire from its Board, effective June 2021.

InfluxData added Vidya Peters to its Board.

Concurrent Technologies Corporation added Sean P. Roche and Gary C. Slack to its Board.

SentinelOne added Charlene Begley to its Board.

Quotient Technology added Lorraine Hariton to its Board.

Oculii added Karl-Thomas Neumann to its Board.

Uniphore added John Chambers, Andrea Ayers and Burt Podbere to its Board.

CTIA Wireless Foundation added Michael O’Brien to its Board.

Exro added Terence Johnsson to its Board.

Ocutrx Technologies appointed Dr. Bill Link as Chairman of the Ocutrx International Scientific Advisory Board.
