ViacomCBS has recruited Jason White as MTV Entertainment Group’s new CMO, replacing Jacqueline Parkes who stepped down from the position last year. He was most recently the CMO of Curaleaf. | Full Story

Fox News Media has named Bernard T. Gugar as EVP of Corporate Development & General Counsel. Gugar joins Fox News from Google, where he most recently worked as U.S. Head of Industries for Google Cloud’s Deal Pursuit Organization. | Full Story

Reuters announced the appointment of Alessandra Galloni as Editor-in-Chief. She was previously Global Managing Editor at Reuters.

Sony Pictures Animation has hired former Pearl Studio Head of Development Justinian Huang as VP of Creative.

AMC Networks has named BBC America exec director Courtney Thomasma as General Manager of AMC+.

Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, has hired Lee Mason, the Channel 4 commissioner behind It’s A Sin, as a Scripted Chief in EMEA.

ViacomCBS has let go of longtime CBS Television Stations execs Peter Dunn and David Friend after a report alleging racist and abusive behavior.

Apple has announced that Jessie Henderson has joined Apple Studios as a feature film executive. She previously served as EVP of Original Feature Films at HBO Max.

Participant has promoted Laura Kim to EVP of Marketing. She initially joined the company as SVP of Film Marketing in 2014.

Wavelength has named Lee Beckett as VP and Head of Production for its film division.

G/O Media, a leading digital publisher, announced the appointment of David Spiegel to the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to that, he was the Chief Revenue Officer at Inverse.

LiveXLive Media has hired Nikki Hart Caldeira as SVP of Strategic Development, Ari Molovinsky as SVP of Corporate Development and Revenue Strategy, and Jonathan Flax as VP Social Media and Marketing.
