HSBC announced veteran retail banker Tara Latini will be the new Head of Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC USA. She will replace Pablo Sanchez, and report directly to Michael Roberts, President and CEO of HSBC USA and Juan Parma, Regional Head of HSBC’s Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) Americas. | Full Story

Icahn Enterprises, the conglomerate owned by billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn, has named a new CEO to replace Keith Cozza, who will part ways with the company after 7 years as its leader. Former GE Chief Investment Officer Aris Kekedjian will take his place as CEO beginning May 31 and take a spot on the company’s Board of Directors. | Full Story

Credit Suisse announced Chief Risk and Compliance Officer Lara Warner and Head of Investment Bank Brain Chin will be removed after the bank suffered a $4.7 billion loss from the collapse of the U.S. hedge fund, Archegos Capital. | Full Story

Jefferies announced today that Linda Adamany and Mahnaz Safa have been appointed to the Jefferies International Limited Board of Directors.

Guggenheim Partners named the CEO of Guggenheim Securities, Mark Van Lith, a Managing Partner of Guggenheim.

Lafayette Square, an impact-driven, minority-owned investment platform, announced today the appointment of Caitlin McLaughlin as Chief People Officer. McLaughlin formerly served as an EVP at PNC Financial Services Group.

Artist Capital, the strategic capital partner focused on scaling the next generation of innovative investment firms and entrepreneurs, formally announces the recent appointment of Ramesh Parameswar as Managing Director and Patrick Neuman as Director. In addition to these new hires, and in recognition of their contribution to the strong growth of the firm, Denise Sadowski, Evan Kerr and Brett Kasner have been appointed as Partners.

Chicago Pacific Founders, a private equity firm that specializes in investing in healthcare services and senior living, announced today the promotion of Jackson Lai to Principal.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Carolina Montiel as Regional Director, Team Leader in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ara Partners, a private equity firm specializing in industrial decarbonization investments, has hired Greg Zuboff as a Vice President and Abhiram Karuppur as an Associate.

SVB Leerink, a leading investment bank specializing in healthcare and life sciences, announced today that Andrew Fineberg has been hired as a Managing Director to lead the firm's Structured Finance practice.

SVB Leerink announced that Thad Davis has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director. Davis joins the firm from HSBC where he served as Head of U.S. Healthcare Investment Banking.

MFUG Union Bank announced that Lisa Roberts has been named Head of Community Banking and Sterling Sankey will be Head of Wealth Management.

Westwood Financial, a retail investment firm, announced that Lauren Ball has joined the company to oversee its nationwide leasing operations. Ball comes to Westwood after 11 years with SITE Centers, where she served as VP of Leasing.

BSI Financial Services, a mortgage-centric financial services company, announced today that Michael Bugbee has been hired as VP of Client Success. Bugbee replaces Mike Whitfield, who will transition into a senior project management role.

SLR Capital Partners announced that Phil Guerin, the company’s Senior Partner and Head of Originations, has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer and will join its Investment Committee.

HawsGoodwin Wealth, a financial planning and investment management firm, announced that David Hardenbergh has joined as an Associate Wealth Advisor.

Palladium Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm, announced that Nancy A. Mitchell has been named as its first-ever Chief Administrative Officer. Mitchell joins Palladium from O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where she was a Partner.

WebBank today announced the appointment of Abhinav Tiwari to the Company’s Board of Directors effective March 23, 2021.

BetaShares, today announced the appointment of former BlackRock Vice Chairman, Blake Grossman, as a Non-Executive Director.

Anzu Partners, an investment firm that focuses on industrial and life science technology companies, announced that international investment banker William H. Strong has joined as a Partner. He will also join the Anzu Investment Committee.

Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture, today announced that former Wells Fargo Advisor and Managing Director, Alfredo Garcia, has joined the firm.

MAI Capital Management, a leading independent registered investment adviser, announced Michael Dvorkin is joining its team to grow its presence in southeastern Florida.

MidOcean Partners, an alternative asset manager specializing in middle market private equity and alternative credit investments, announced Leslie Tanca and Tim Percarpio joined the company’s Investor Relations team. Tanca joins as a VP and Percarpiojoins as a Managing Director and the Head of Investor Relations.

Homrich Berg added Emily Bentley to its team to grow the firm’s family office service offering. Bentley spent the last 10 years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Union Bank announced that Donna Curtis McClatchey has joined the bank’s Board of Directors.

Regions revealed that Caroline Taylor has joined its Corporate Banking group as SVP and Head of Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending. Before joining Regions, Taylor served as National Head of SBA Lending and as Director of Small Business Credit Underwriting at Capital One.

Hunter Point Capital announced the appointment of Zade Zalatimo as an Operating Partner. Zalatimo was previously a Senior Executive Officer of Carlyle MENA.

Natixis appoints Tim Ryan as a member of the Natixis senior management committee in charge of Asset & Wealth Management, and CEO of Natixis Investment Managers, effective April 12th.

Virtu Financial announced the appointments of Mary Mooney and Raya White to Virtu’s senior management team, in the newly created roles of Co-Chief People Officers.

Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation announced it has promoted Matthew Remo to SVP, Director of Strategy and Development at Peapack-Gladstone Bank.

Greystone, a leading national commercial real estate finance company, announced that Imran Ahmed has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director. Ahmed was most recently at CBRE Capital Advisors, where he served as an Executive Managing Director within Global Capital Markets.

Canoe Financial announced the retirement of its Head of Fixed Income and Chief Investment Officer, Marc Goldfried. The group’s SVP, Portfolio Manager, and Head of Equities, Robert Taylor, will assume the role of Interim Chief Investment Officer.

Laurentian Bank has announced that Karine Abgrall-Teslyk is joining the bank asEVP and Head of Personal Banking. Prior to joining Laurentian Bank, Abgrall-Teslyk served as a Regional Vice President at Scotiabank.
