Fox News Media has named Bernard T. Gugar as EVP of Corporate Development & General Counsel. He will be reporting to Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media.

Gugar joins Fox News from Google, where he most recently worked as U.S. Head of Industries for Google Cloudā€™s Deal Pursuit Organization. Prior to joining Google, he taught entrepreneurship and innovation at The University of Chicagoā€™s business school. From 2007 to 2015, Gugar was the SVP and General Counsel of Harpo, a privately held media company owned by Oprah Winfrey.
