Adapdix Names Former Intel Exec as Product Strategy VP

Chet Hullum has joined adaptive enterprise software startup Adapdix as its new VP of Product Strategy and Marketing.

Chet Hullum has joined adaptive enterprise software startup Adapdix as its new VP of Product Strategy and Marketing.

The veteran product management and marketing executive joins the company shortly after the announcement of EdgeOps DataMesh, the first product of its next-generation adaptive AI software platform EdgeOps. The company’s new product will likely benefit from his more than 25 years of experience developing, selling, and marketing products supporting Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.

Hullum joins from Smart Embedded Computing, where he served as President and General Manager. He also spent 4 years at Intel and headed up the tech giant’s IOT Industrial Segment as its General Manager. The bulk of Hullum’s experience comes from GE, where he spent 17 years climbing the corporate ladder before leaving as the CMO for GE Power.

Adapdix announced an Series A funding round in December 2020, which it quickly followed up with from SoftBank's Opportunity Fund. Following this influx of cash, the startup has brought on a slew of new talent.

Hullum is the third major hire the startup has made in 2021, as it also onboarded Chief Technology Officer Jean Lau in February and Chief Operating Officer John Genovesi in June.
